The Special Name of God
Exodus 3:6-15
Proverbs 18:10-“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
Psalm 124:8-“Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
1. God is the giver and sustainer of life
Verses 13-14
Daniel 5:22-23-“But you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, although you knew all this. 23 And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.”
Acts 17:28-“for in Him we live and move and have our being.”
Colossians 1:15-17-“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”

John 8:32-33-“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.They answered Him, ‘We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone.”
John 8:56-58-“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.’ Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham? Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
John 8:59-“Then they took up stones to throw at Him.”
Matthew 14:27-“Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
Matthew 14:33-“Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘Truly You are the Son of God.” Because the great I AM is worthy of worship.
John 18:4-5-“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, ‘Whom are you seeking?’ They answered Him, ‘Jesus of Nazareth.’ Jesus said to them, ‘I am He.”
John 18:6-“Now when He said to them, “I am He,’ they drew back and fell to the ground.”
Mark 14:61-64-“But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, ‘Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?’ Jesus said, ‘I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.’ Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, ‘What further need do we have of witnesses? You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?’ And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.”
