How to be a Spiritual Parent

1 Corinthians 4:14-21

1. A spiritual parent reproduces

Verse 15

1 Peter 1:23-“having been born again, not of corruptible seedbut incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.”

Luke 10:2–“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

2. A spiritual parent loves

Verse 14

2 Corinthians 6:11–“O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.”

2 Corinthians 12:15-“And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.”
