The Importance of Easter
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1. Jesus died for our sins
Verse 3
John 1:1-“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:14-“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
2. Jesus was buried
Verse 4
Jeremiah 31:34-“For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Psalm 103:12-“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
3. Jesus rose again
Verses 2, 4-8, 26
John 1:12-“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
