Colossians 1:19-22

1. The One who makes reconciliation possible

Verse 19

Colossians 2:9-10

2. The power of reconciliation

Verse 20

Romans 5:6-10-“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Romans 3:10-11-“There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God.”

3. The change of reconciliation

Verses 2122

Ephesians 2:11-13Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ

Romans 8:1-“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
