Revelation 3:7-8-“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, ‘He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens:’ “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

3. Be aware of opposition to the opportunity 

Verse 9

Revelation 2:4-“ Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

Psalm 33:1-“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” 

Acts 20:29-31-“For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.”
