Genesis 1:1-3

1. God is powerful

Hebrews 11:3-“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

Romans 1:20-“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” 

Psalm 33:9-“For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”

Hebrews 1:3-“who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power.”

Psalm 121:1-2-“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

Acts 4:24-“ Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them.”

Jeremiah 32:27-“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” 

2. God is faithful

Hebrews 6:18-“it is impossible for God to lie.”

Revelation 19:11-“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”

Joshua 21:45-“ Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” 

2 Timothy 2:13-“ If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”

Mark 16:7-“But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee.” 

3. God is triune 

Deuteronomy 6:4-“Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one!”

John 1:1-3-“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

John 1:14-“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

John 14:16-“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.” 

Ephesians 1:13-14-“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
