Dealing with the bad in life
Psalm 73
Verses 1-5, 12-14, 16
1. Believe that God can rescue us from bad
Acts 12:1-2-“ It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.”
2. Believe that God can deliver us from bad
Psalm 34:19-“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”
Proverbs 16:4-“The Lord works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster.”
3. Believe that God will reward us in spite of the bad
Verses 16-17, 26-28
James 1:12-“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
Romans 8:18-“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
