Psalm 3

1. You have enemies who are against you.

Verses 1-2

John 3:19-“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”

2. You have a heavenly Father who is for you.

Verses 3, 5

Psalm 34:7-“The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.”

Luke 21:28-“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

3. You have a bright future.

Verses 6, 8

2 Samuel 22-47-49-“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, the Rock of my salvation! It is God who avenges me, and subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.”
