Exodus 15:22-27
1. God allows us to face bitter situations
Verse 25
Proverbs 13:12-“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”
1 Peter 4:12-13-“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”
2. God can heal us from those bitter situations
Verses 24, 26
Philippians 2:14-“Do all things without complaining and disputing.”
James 1:2-3-“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
Psalm 34:1-“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Psalm 150:6-“ Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18-“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Psalm 119:1-2-“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!”
