Jesus is Perfect
Hebrews 4:15-16
1. Jesus was tempted like us
Verse 15
1 John 2:16-“For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”
2. Jesus defeated temptation for us
Verse 15
1 John 3:5-“And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.”
1 Peter 2:22-“Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth.”
2 Corinthians 5:21-“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
John 8:46-“Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?”
