Ruth 4
1. A sacrifice was needed
Verses 2-6
2 Corinthians 8:9-“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”
1 Peter 1:18-19-“…you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
2. The law had to be satisfied
Verse 7-10
Romans 8:3-4-“For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”
3. Shame is removed
Verses 13–17
Romans 8:1-“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”
4. Many lives are impacted
